Drill
water wells in developing countries or donate drilling services.
Those companies that choose to participate by drilling wells should
follow the following three-step process:
- Planning:
Notify the agency responsible for water resources in the country
in which you are operating of the locations where you are or will
be actively drilling. These agencies will help you determine if
there are any sites in the vicinity of your operations, or along
the route between exploration sites, where water wells are needed.
Speak with, and engage the local authorities, to ensure their
active involvement in the future maintenance and operation of
the well.
- Drilling:
Contact
us for the technical details on how to complete the
well with an appropriate equipment. If you are not able to complete
the well with a pump, please make arrangements directly with the
local agency to help ensure this task completed.
- Communication:
Record the location of the well (lat/long) and submit it along
with a digital photograph and any other relevant information to
info@miningforwater.com.
This is an important step because it allows us to track the progress
and success of this initiative and promote its results.
-
Promote Your Company's Participation: Promote your support
for the Mining for Water Challenge by referring to it in your
corporate communications (web site, investor kits, annual report,
etc.).
