is an emerging Canadian gold producer whose activities are focused
on the West African country of Burkina Faso. Burkina Faso is a relatively
small, land locked country that is about the size of Newfoundland
and Labrador, or Colorado. It has a population of approximately
12 million, and is one of the poorest countries in the world. Orezone's
mission is to create wealth by discovering and developing the earth's
resources in an efficient and responsible manner. Orezone recognizes
the synergies between the vision of Ryan's Well Foundation and the
ability and desire of the global mining community to make a meaningful
contribution to the countries in which they operate. Orezone is
bringing the two together through its creation and sponsorship of
Mining for Water.
